About SDM
Skills Development Mission, Inc. (SDM) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, multiethnic organization founded in 2000 and incorporated in 2004 in Washington State. Our mission is to reach, teach, and empower under-privileged, under-represented, and under-skilled individuals, giving them the resources they need to succeed.
SDM is also a place where people learn tolerance through our diverse community of participants, including refugees from Afghanistan, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, and Turkey.
In partnership with public schools, colleges, universities, businesses, and private organizations, SDM tackles our clients' needs through educational support, socialization in a safe setting, and practical skill development.
